| Web3 Icons | Chain logos on the lanes, heads lists, beacon tables and chain pages, drawn in one ink | 0xa3k5, @web3icons/core 4.0.58 | MIT |
| Simple Icons | The marks for Hacker News (Y Combinator), The New York Times, Deutsche Welle and CNN Indonesia (CNN) on Sources and captures | Simple Icons contributors, simple-icons 16.35.0 | CC0 1.0 |
| country-flag-icons | The country flags beside each witness source on the Live page, source pages, captures and What We Publish, only the flags the registry uses | @catamphetamine, country-flag-icons 1.6.20 | MIT |
| Etchd line icons | Navigation icons, the theme toggle, the drand glyph, the globe for sources with no single country and the fallback glyphs for sources with no mark of their own | Etchd, drawn for this site | Same licence as the Etchd code |
The chain logos on the lanes and chain pages and the service logos on Sources name the chains and services we read from. They are trademarks of their owners, and showing them implies no endorsement from those projects. We draw them in one ink. Colour is kept for state. The flags are the one exception, shown in their own colours to say where a source reports from.
Source Marks
Each witness source shows its outlet's mark next to its name. Where Simple Icons has the brand we use that path, and for the rest we took the outlet's own favicon, touch icon or site logo and traced it to one ink at a size that still reads at 20 px. Sources missing here get one of our line glyphs.

Marks
| Name | Used for | From | Licence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ethereum Classic diamond | The green diamond in the Etchd mark, the favicon and the app icons | Ethereum Classic community, from the ETC brand assets | We found no stated licence. We use it to name the chain Etchd anchors to |
| Classix wordmark | The byline in the header and on the social card | Classix | Classix trademark |
| Etchd mark and proof seal | The Merkle tree mark, the lockup and the round seal on verified proofs and social cards | Etchd | Etchd trademark |
The Etchd mark is a Merkle tree of eight leaves growing out of the Ethereum Classic diamond. The diamond keeps the ETC green #3ab83a in light and dark mode alike, and the round seal on verified proofs and social cards is ours too.
The source code of Etchd is at github.com/classix-dev/etchd, with its dependencies listed in pnpm-lock.yaml. Classix builds and runs it.
